The Potter and the Clay

When I was trying to decide what to name my blog, I thought of the story about the potter and the clay from the Bible. I chose this name for a few reasons. First of all, God is our Potter and we are the clay - my blog is a written version of how God is forming (and working in) my life. Second, I did a play on words...I am a "Potter" and my children are clay - as a stay-at-home-mom, my entire day is teaching, disciplining, and helping (or "shaping") my children to be who God desires them to be.
