100th POST

Finally!
Well, to be honest, I am coming up blank with 25 more things to tell you about myself. So, I am going to tell you 25 things that God is doing in my life...
75. Calling me to be set apart from the world.
76. Asking me to COMPLETELY depend on HIM.
77. Refining me
78. Teaching me patience,
79. Contentment,
80. and Trust.
81. Asking me to Wait on Him.
82. Preparing my family for His Plan
83. Showing me that He is Greater then my struggles.
84. Teaching me humility,
85. Mercy,
86. Forgiveness,
87. and grace.
88. Giving me a desire for His Wisdom
89. and His Word.
90. Helping me to relate to people from the Bible
91. Showing me my layers and helping me to shed them under His Grace.
92. Helping me to depend on Him for the little stuff
93. How important it is to carry His Word in my heart (through memorization)
94. How often I need to remove my own log from my eye before I try to remove the speck from my friend's eye.
95. How important it is for me to represent the character qualities I greatly desire to teach my children.
96. Showing me how wonderful of a husband He has given me.
97. How I need to show him that daily.
98. The grass is not greener on the other side.
99. God will meet me where I am.
100. My life motto: JOY - Jesus first, Others second, and Yourself last. (Yes, I got this from the Duggers)
**These are all things that God is teaching me...and I am still learning.

He has Risen!

What a joyful time of year remembering what Christ has done for us! Because He Lives, we can face tomorrow! Because He Lives, all fear is gone! Because I know He holds the future! All because He Lives!
Praise the Lord!

A little recap of our time of celebration...
Stuffing eggs for the Eggstravaganza!

Fun at the Eggstravaganza!

Palm Sunday...the kids also sang in church on this day, but I videoed using the old-fashioned camcorder!

Easter Sunday! My mom sent my kids some baskets full of goodies! Makenna had a little fever, so she was not feeling all that great. We celebrated at my brother's house with a BBQ.

The kids helped dad make dinner that night...fun and messy!

Biscuits and the Resurrection!

Our morning of making biscuits turned into a lesson about Christ's resurrection. After choosing the cross, gingerbread man, and heart to cut out our biscuits, the story began to unfold. We made the gingerbread man to represent Jesus and the hearts to represent "God's love" (spoken by Katelyn.) It was a wonderful time to talk to my children about what happens after the crucifixion. It was a joyful time to explain the true meaning of Easter. God is so good!
