Behind

I am behind. I do not like to be behind. It can be so hard to catch up.
There are so many things that I am behind in...that is even worse.
I am behind in...
Scrapbooking - this is a big deal since I do it on my computer and always have it at my findgertips. I guess I have a good excuse...my computer crashed several months ago. I had all my pictures in neat little folders which made my scrapbooking so easy. Now, my neat little folders are gone. I have been trying to piece together those lost memories, but many of them are still lost. I left off with Hallie's book in January...I am 8 months behind. I left off with our family book last October...almost a year behind there. **I do individual books for the first year and then do everyone together in a family book after that.

Pictures - My walls still showcase my 6 year old little girl, my 3 year old little boy, and my 18 month little girl. Hallie's picture is in the frame in my room waiting to be hung...she is a month old in her picture. Now, for the most part I have updated the pictures (I have been taking them myself), but they are still in the digital form and have yet made it into print. I am behind I tell you. I still need to take a group shot of my bunch and I like to take them to Portrait Innovations, but that has yet to happen.

Cleaning - I need to spring clean, but now it would be fall clean. It will probably end up becoming nesting...or spring cleaning (a year late). I do my best to keep up with the weekly basics (though I admit that that is even hard right now), but the big stuff is way down the list. I did manage to get out the bins of winter clothing and switch out all of my children's clothing...but the bins still glamour my living room as I am behind on laundry and do not want to put the bins away before I am sure that all summer clothing is put away. You know how it goes.

Weeds - I have never (in our 8 years of living here) been this behind on my weeds. I don't even want to talk about it. Let's move on.

Even my calendars are behind. My birthday calendar says July and our school calendar says August. My daily calendar is up to speed, though, and that is a good thing.

I am behind on dr. visits for my children, piano lessons for Katelyn, filing papers, switching out my normal clothes for maternity clothes, and...grocery shopping (Oh, I do not like to do that, especially with morning sickness!)

Pretty bad, huh?

Just for encouragement...I am not behind on
homeschooling
washing cloth diapers
loving my family
teaching my children about Jesus

Just in case you were starting to worry...
:)

Oh ~ you are in good company, and I feel your pain.
I pray the Lord will enable you to catch up on what He has in store for you and meanwhile, give you peace and perspective.
I understand - and also do not like to be behind! :0 I appreciate your honesty.
